Kazuhiro Takeuchi

Kazuhiro Takeuchi, MD, PhD, is Chairman and Chief Medical Director of ART Kagoshima. He trained in obstetrics and gynecology at Kagoshima University and was a research fellow at the Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School, where he contributed to early preimplantation genetic diagnosis work in the United States.

He has led reproductive-medicine services in Kagoshima since the early 1990s and has held directorships in Japanese IVF and reproductive-medicine organizations. His professional qualifications include board certification in reproductive medicine and clinical genetics, with longstanding involvement in assisted reproduction, implantation and reproductive genetics.
