Jie Yan严杰

Professor Jie Yan is a Research Professor and doctoral supervisor at Peking University Third Hospital. She serves as Deputy Director of the Department of Reproductive Medicine and conducts research through the National Key Laboratory for Female Fertility Promotion.

Her work focuses on reproductive endocrinology, assisted reproductive technology and the protection and preservation of female fertility. Her research group studies the molecular regulation of human follicle development, develops three-dimensional follicle-culture models and advances biomimetic controlled-ice cryopreservation technologies for germ cells and gonadal tissue.

Professor Yan has led major national research programs, published more than 40 papers as first or corresponding author, and contributed to patented technologies translated into clinical and industrial use. Her work has received national and municipal science and technology awards in China.

She is rotating Chair of the China Branch of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and holds senior roles in Chinese professional committees for fertility preservation and reproductive health.
